St. Sophia( "Hagia Sophia", which means "Holy Wisdom" and was taken into Turkish under the name of Ayasofya) is a former church of Constantinople of the sixth century who became a mosque in Istanbul in the fifteenth century. Today it is no longer a place of worship but a museum (1934).
